Each Education Provider course is reviewed for educational and subject matter quality by a team of third-party reviewers. USGBC seeks qualified professionals who are knowledgeable in the field of green building, sustainable design, and instructional design to review Education Provider courses.

Qualifications to Become a Reviewer
- A minimum of three years of professional experience in the green building industry and/or professional education.
- A higher education degree in a relevant discipline.
- Expertise in the subject matter being reviewed.
- Employed by a USGBC member organization or a member of a USGBC Chapter
Steps to Becoming a Reviewer
To join the review team, qualified volunteers must complete training in the key educational elements of adult learning, program review criteria and process. Review team members are expected to review a minimum of 12 courses annually. Reviews take an average of two hours or less to complete. New reviewer trainings will occur once each month.

- USGBC contacts qualified prospective Course Reviewers with information on completing USGBC Course Reviewer Training - Next training will be November 19, 2009 at 2:00 PM EST.
- Successfully complete a test-review
- Participate in quarterly online training and update meetings
