LEED Rating System Committees

The LEED Rating System Committees have primary responsibility for the development and implementation of LEED credits for a specific building type or market sector. Once a pilot program has been completed and the rating system has been approved by USGBC membership, the committee is disbanded.

All LEED Rating System core committees have associated corresponding committees made up of USGBC members. Any interested member may join the corresponding committee to receive regular updates and minutes from the core committee and may submit questions or comments to the core committee.

Committee Membership

Core committee members are elected from the corresponding committee member body. Only corresponding committee members are eligible to vote in core committee elections.
