LEED 2012 will be balloted from June 1-30, 2012. To vote, you must join the Consensus Body during the Opt-In Period, which begins April 2 and closes May 15. Employees of USGBC national member organizations in good standing are eligible to opt-in and vote. The consensus body is created to ensure participation from the full diversity of LEED users and a balanced representation of USGBC membership.

The LEED 2012 fourth public comment period is open from May 11 - May 28 (11:59 pm ET). Fourth public comment is an opportunity for stakeholders to review what we consider to be a final version of the rating system that will move forward to ballot. A number of key changes have been made to address the technical and market issues voiced throughout the course of previous comment periods. This version is intended to show the technical requirements up for ballot, short of any clarifications or non-substantive changes that come up during fourth public comment.
All comments will be reviewed and provided a response from USGBC. Please note that feedback received after May 28, 2012 at 11:59pm ET will not be provided a formal response from USGBC and may not be considered prior to the next phase of the rating system development process.
We thank you for your commitment to LEED and the ongoing the development of the LEED program.
