The Affordable Housing Webinar series Numbers, Know How and Navigating LEED in Affordable Housing wrapped up recently after three well attended sessions. The webinars explored the key factors driving green decision making in affordable housing projects as well as the challenges and outcomes of incorporating high performance, green measures and alternative energy systems into the host of affordable housing priorities and constraints.

All webinars will be archived and available free of charge for future viewing.

Greenbuild: Call for Proposals for Education Sessions and Reviewers

Interested in presenting at Greenbuild? Now is your chance! USGBC is accepting proposals from industry experts eager to share their knowledge and expertise. Take part in shaping the content of education sessions by submitting proposals for the Residential and associated Greenbuild summits. To submit a proposal or to learn more about the process, visit the Call for Proposals website.
The deadline for submittals is Friday, Jan. 13 at 4:59 p.m. ET.

USGBC is also seeking peer reviewers to evaluate session proposals. Reviewers are eligible to present at the events and receive $100 discount off a Greenbuild full conference registration. If you are interested in volunteering as a reviewer, please apply on the Call for Reviewers website.

New Online LEED Project Profile Library

USGBC is improving and expanding its new online LEED project profile library beta. This library features stories told by diverse project stakeholders about lessons learned, challenges, successes, best practices, strategies, ROI, and more. These real-life project examples stand alone as educational resources and can be integrated into other USGBC programs, thereby advancing green building adoption and innovation.

LEED for Homes International Pilot

In response to growing international demand for LEED for Homes certification, USGBC has launched a LEED for Homes International Pilot. Project teams working on residential projects with 50 or more units may submit an application for consideration.
