Attend Greenbuild 2009, secure your place in the green economy – and see a music legend in concert!
As the world continues the work of building a stronger, more prosperous, more equitable economy for the future, there remain many questions about what that economy will look like. But one thing is clear: It will be a green economy. For professionals seeking to cement their place in the new green economy and companies looking to expand their role in the green building marketplace, the place to be is Phoenix this November.
The 2009 Greenbuild International Conference & Expo heads to the American Southwest Nov. 11-13. Year after year, Greenbuild has continued to grow to become the largest conference and expo dedicated to green building and the year’s biggest event for networking, learning and growing professionally. This year more than ever, Greenbuild is a must-attend event: It’s your chance to be a leader in the new economy, it’s chock-full of travel and other discounts, and with more than 1,800 booths it promises to be the biggest Greenbuild ever. And best of all, we’ll be in sunny Phoenix in the middle of November – so you can bring your family along and enjoy a vacation in one of the most beautiful and unique parts of the country.
And the location isn’t the only thing new this year. Some of the things we have planned to make this year’s Greenbuild an event to remember include:
- Enjoy a concert with your opening plenary: The traditional opening plenary session is getting a makeover this year – we’re combining it with a concert featuring one of music’s biggest names at Chase Field, home to the Arizona Diamondbacks. Stay tuned for the announcement of our headliner early next week: You can be the first to know if you follow us on Twitter or Facebook.
- Bring the family: The USGBC Companion Program and the Greenbuild Children’s Program ensure that while you’re on the expo floor or in an educational session, your significant other and kids will have plenty to do. Learn more »
- Find a job: The first-ever Greenbuild Job Fair is an easy way to network with exhibiting companies and make real progress in your job search off the expo floor and in a more relaxed atmosphere. Stay tuned for more information: Visit GreenbuildExpo.org often, and subscribe to the Greenbuild newsletter.
Of course, alongside all these new features, Greenbuild will still offer the latest in top-notch LEED and green building educational programming, industry-leading master speakers, plenty of off-site tours, and great events like the Greenbuild 2009 Residential Summit, International Forum, and the Greenbuild Film Festival – just to name a few.
