This international conference aims to bring together 400 leading experts to exchange knowledge on environmental innovation to create sustainable urban areas. USGBC’s Research Program is pleased to co-sponsor this technical conference hosted by Purdue University’s School of Mechanical Engineering. The Faculty of Construction and Land Use (FCLU) of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) will hold the First International Conference on Sustainable Urbanization (ICSU) on 15-17 December 2010 in Hong Kong. This scientific conference series is launched to provide an international forum for the international scientific/engineering community to examine these challenges and to find effective solutions to ensure a sustainable process of urbanization and sustainable operation and management of urbanized areas.
