Year after year, the Greenbuild International Conference and Expo provides an extraordinary opportunity to get involved with the green building movement.

Today, USGBC is excited to announce scholarship opportunities to attend Greenbuild 2014.

Scholarships are available for students, emerging professionals, faith leaders, community developers and non-traditional professionals.

Scholarships are competitive, and preference is given to those with a demonstrated need who represent under-served people and communities. They also allow USGBC to invest in individuals who share our vision and want to be champions for the movement.

I want to thank the USGBC team and Ryan for the opportunity to attend Greenbuild 2014. I was so relieved to hear I would be attending that I have been studying hard to acquire LEED Green Associate v4 just prior to joining all the wonderful people and excitement that will be Greenbuild 2014. I can't wait :)

The application closed on Monday with over 600 submitted and we are reviewing all applicants this week. We aim to make decisions by the end of next week and let those who were not selected know on the day that 'early bird' registration closes on 8/14.

Hi Ryan - I was just wondering if all applicants are notified if unsuccessful? I haven't yet received anything. Many thanks.

Hi - Confirmation to those who were awarded and those who were not were sent out a few weeks back. Some emails to folks who did not receive the scholarship were lost in 'cyberspace', but we've been in contact with all who were awarded a scholarship. For those who did not receive a scholarship - please do apply again in the future, or consider volunteering to receive free access (if you meet the requirements - less than 25 years old and/or a full time student).
Keeping my fingers crossed. Would be eagerly waiting to hear a positive revert!

Hi Ryan, Is there any timeline as to when scholarship recipients will be notified? Will it be before the early registration deadline for Greenbuild passes? Thanks!
