Become a Green Rater: Take our Greenbuild pre-conference training
Green Raters provide in-the-field verification services at each and every LEED for Homes Project.
The residential LEED Rating Systems include LEED for Homes and Multifamily Mid-rise Rating Systems. This pair of rating systems is unique because projects pursuing certification are verified onsite by a LEED for Homes Green Rater.
With over 100,000 registered Homes and Mid-rise projects, Green Raters are a critical verification workforce.

Monday, Nov. 18 and Tuesday, Nov. 19
8:30 am - 5:30 pm each day
Highly experienced USGBC Faculty member, Kevin Stack will facilitate the workshop portion of the course.
During the two-day workshop, you will explore the roles and responsibilities of the verification team and the specific verification requirements. You will also practice using certification tools and navigating conflicts of interest that are common throughout LEED projects.
And finally, the training will prepare you for the Green Rater exam, and it will facilitate connections to LEED for Homes Providers.
In addition to the Green Rater Training, a facilitated mentorship field component will also be available in Philadelphia on Nov. 20 and 22 to accelerate your mentorship. This offering includes two verification site visits and fulfills the in-person Mentor-supervised components of the required Green Rater In-training Mentorship.
