Center for Green Schools Opportunities: Green Classroom Professional Certificate

Published on Posted in Center for Green Schools

Green Classroom Professional Certificate

The Center for Green Schools officially launched the Green Classroom Professional Certificate this March, which is a certificate program for pre-K–12 teachers, paraprofessionals, other school staff and administrators. With the skills gained from the program, educators will be able to create sustainable learning spaces, identify features that support or impede environmentally healthy classrooms and help foster an attitude among youth and future generations to appreciate and model green practices.

The course is online, available anytime and followed by an assessment. The package takes 2-3 hours to complete, and the certificate is valid for five years. If you or someone you know is interested in signing up for the Green Classroom Professional Certificate, visit centerforgreenschools.org/greenclassroom

Hi there, I am planning to pursue this course but is it possible for me because I am living in Saudi Arabia. What are the eligibility requirements?

Thank you for your interest in the Green Classroom Professional certificate program. We welcome anyone to take the GCP course. The GCP course content does present the typical North American classroom and climate. We hope you still find it a valuable tool for greening schools or for contributing to greening schools in KSA.

I did the survey telling how wonderful my enrollment experience was and then the system kicked me out!!! That was not so wonderful.

Scott, thank you for attempting to share your wonderful experience with the course. We apologize for the error, and we would absolutely welcome feedback by email if more convenient for you. Please send any feedback or praise to GCP@gbci.org.
