Hi Rana, I'm going to create a case for your and we can take this off the discussion board. We can help you get registered with the correct name. You do not need to change your email, but the name on your exam must match you identification. You will hear from our support team shortly. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Hi Nora, i'm wondering if i choose Arabic language aid, does that will make the full exam only in Arabic or the screen will be divided half Arabic and half English like PMP Exam? your quick response will be highly appreciated because i'm planning to apply to take the exam in the next few days.

Hi Khaled, The exam will be an Arabic language aid, where the screen is split English/Arabic as you described. Hope that helps!

The LEEDv4 study guides are anticipated to be released in Fall 2014.
Hi Nora, You know when will publish the material v4 for the exam to Green Associate?
Digital Marketing Manager, U.S. Green Building Council
Hi Ila, LEED v4 Green Associate exam translation aids are now available.
Nora, actually I wanted know when the green associate study guide v4 and the core concepts third version will translated to portuguese, because now, only the version 2009 is translated.
Digital Marketing Manager, U.S. Green Building Council
Hi Illa, The Portuguese translation of the 3rd Edition of the Core Concepts Guide is undergoing translation and will be available for purchase by fall 2014. USGBC is also looking to our education partners to create v4 study guides, and we will be working with them to consider options for translating into other languages.

It would be good to have an official translation of the study guides. Maybe it could be part of a volunteer program, I know I would be interested in helping to translate the guides to spanish.

Hi Vanessa, we now have study guides available in Arabic, Chinese, Spanish and Portuguese. Learn more.
I am interested on taking the LEED GA Exam in Brazil where I am located. Instituto Alumni here in Sao Paulo provides such exams. Please let me know if the exams at Alumni are provided in English, which is my preference.
Digital Marketing Manager, U.S. Green Building Council
Hi Tarcisio, the exams are offered in English or in Portuguese globally, so yes you can take it in English in Brazil. Just select “English” as the language during registration.

How about a translation service of uploaded documentation? i.e. a project team uploads documentation in its native language and USGBC offers , for a fee, a translation service.
Digital Marketing Manager, U.S. Green Building Council
Thank you for your suggestion. We currently accept submittals in Portuguese and English. Please see our current guidance regarding submittal translations. Learn more.

Thank you for your reply. Actually, the USGBC could estimate translation costs and charge accordingly. It would really make the service more user friendly for other countries. Instead of the translator providing in writing the whole documentation translated, he/she could be sitted next to the reviewer and translate "live". This greatly reduces costs. Not my idea though (another building certification system uses this method).
