Growing the USGBC North Dakota community through sponsorship
Help USGBC North Dakota achieve its goals by becoming a sponsor in 2017.
What percentage of your time is spent in a built environment, from a building to a city block? 75 percent? 80 percent? According to the Environmental Protection Agency, the average American spends 90 percent of their time indoors—and that may even be more if you're in North Dakota in January. As you can see, the quality of the built environment affects us all.
The USGBC North Dakota community is a volunteer-based group dedicated to transforming the way buildings are designed, built and operated to improve the quality of life for all. We represent members with diverse professional backgrounds, from those who join with enthusiasm for sustainability to those in the building design profession, such as engineers and architects.
As a local market leadership advisory board (MLAB), educational opportunities such as our annual conference, Green Focus ND, and service opportunities such as Green Apple Day of Service events at local schools have been provided for our membership and greater community alike. USGBC North Dakota has been growing, and there are even more opportunities for partnership, such as the ADVANCE program, to assist organizations and communities along their path to sustainability.
We have great opportunities for improvement in North Dakota, and we can work together to establish and meet our collective goals for sustainability. If this excites and motivates you, or you would like to learn more about us and the partnership opportunities available, please look at our community sponsorship brochure or email Stephanie Leonard. Your involvement and support has an impact as we all move, work and live in the (hopefully temperate) built environment.
