Published on 13 Nov 2013 Written by Sam Glass Posted in LEED

USGBC is proud to support habitat and open space protection.USGBC has teamed up with The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) to release a new pilot credit, SSpc83: Pilot ACP for Site Development – Protect or Restore Habitat. SSpc83, allows a new pathway for projects to achieve offsite land use mitigation.

As a kick-off, we will be hosting a Connect-and-Learn event at Greenbuild. This event, a breakfast included presentation with a Q&A session following, will feature Scot Horst, Senior Vice President of LEED, Brendan Owens – VP of LEED for Technical Development, Sam Glass – LEED Habitat and Land Conservation Fellow, as well as Matt Braughler – Vice President for Development at the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.

While this is a free, open to the public event, space is limited. Please RSVP as soon as possible.

Hope to see you there.
