Home run! Twitter Chat with the Seattle Mariners

Published on 17 May 2013 Written by William Nutt Posted in Center for Green Schools

As we continue leveraging the cultural influence of sports to advance green building, we’re taking to social media to engage players and fans alike.

Join the Center for Green Schools (@mygreenschools) for a twitter chat with the Seattle Mariners (@Mariners) and Green Sports Alliance (@SportsAlliance). We’ll be celebrating the sustainability initiatives of sports organizations and encouraging our followers to partake in their own.

Log onto twitter May 23 from 4-5 p.m. EDT to join the conversation, and use hashtag #GreenSports to ask questions. Make sure to follow @SportsAlliance and @mygreenschools.

Special guests Scott Jenkins, vice president of Ballpark Operations, Seattle Mariners, and Rachel Gutter, director of the Center for Green Schools at USGBC, will chime in on a range of topics, from waste management to the Green Apple Day of Service.

We hope to see you online!
