LEED Green Associate exam: What to expect at Prometric

Published on Written by Posted in LEED

The LEED Green Associate demonstrates a solid understanding of green building principles and practices. Here's what you can expect at the testing center, Prometric.

Arrival

We recommended that you arrive at the Prometric at least 30 minutes prior to your exam appointment. If you arrive at the test site after your scheduled exam time you will lose your seat.

Name and address

When you arrive at Prometric, you will have to present identification. Your name must match the name in your usgbc.org profile otherwise you will not be allowed to take the exam and you will forfeit the exam fee.

Your identification must be a valid, unexpired ID with a signature, expiration date, and a photograph that looks like you. If your ID has a picture but no signature, it must be provided with a form of signature ID (Credit Card) in the same name.

You should also confirm the address listed in your usgbc.org profile to ensure that your certificate is mailed to the most current address.

Test security

To ensure the integrity of the LEED Green Associate exam, you will be required to accept a nondisclosure agreement which prohibits any disclosure of exam content. Failure to comply with the agreement will prevent you from testing.

During the exam

You will be escorted to a workstation by test center staff. You must remain in your seat during the exam except when authorized to leave by test center staff.
