MEDIA ALERT: State of Our Schools: The Center for Green Schools at USGBC and UTC unveil new nationwide survey results regarding America’s schools
Media are invited to press conference unveiling results and media panel featuring green school experts
Join the Center for Green Schools at USGBC and United Technologies Corp. (UTC) as they unveil the results of a new, independent nationwide survey exploring Americans’ attitudes toward public school buildings and investments to modernize our country’s school infrastructure.
John Mandyck, chief sustainability officer, UTC Building & Industrial Systems, will relay the results of the survey findings. Following his remarks, Wendy Koch of USA Today will moderate a panel discussion on the state of our schools with the following experts:
- Cathy Allen, Associate Superintendent, Sacramento City Unified School District
- Jim McGarry, President/CEO, National School Supply & Equipment Association
- Rachel Gutter, Director of the Center for Green Schools at USGBC
The panel discussion will be followed by a Q&A session.
