Should we expect a new edition of the "LEED AP Neighborhood Development Study Guide" V4?

The LEED AP ND exam is not scheduled to feature V4 content until summer of 2015. We expect for materials surrounding the exam to be updated around that time as well.

Hi. When will the LEED v4 LEED AP Homes and LEED AP ND candidate handbooks be made available along with the reference guides for each? By the way, are the candidate handbooks and the reference guides for each of these credentials the only items I need to successfully prepare for these exams? I'm new to the sector. Could you please clarify? I'd really appreciate it.

The LEED AP Homes and LEED AP ND exams are not scheduled to be updated with V4 content until summer 2015. The most updated study materials for this exam is the LEED 2009 study material. The handbooks are a must when preparing for the exam. I personally would recommend the reference guides as well but there is a plethora of options out there. I've added some helpful links to get you started. The LEED v4 Candidate Handbooks: http://www.usgbc.org/resources/list/credentialing-resources. Thanks for the helpful info. So what kind of discounts are available to pay for study materials and the exams? Are there scholarships or grants available to pay for any of this?
LEED Specialist, USGBC/GBCI
USGBC offers full time students a discount on the LEED Green Associate exam and there is a discount for all employees of USGBC member companies for the both the LEED AP and LEED Green Associate exams. There maybe scholarships or programs from other companies that can help as well, but I am not familiar with those.

Dear Nora, I have my brother's books (2009 edition) who took the exams earlier, can I use them to prepare for the LEED GA: V4 exam ? are there major differences ?
LEED Specialist, USGBC/GBCI
The new LEED V4 exams have been updated the reflect the most current knowledge reflected in LEED and Green Building. It is also based on the V4 rating systems while the previous exams were based on the V3 rating systems. I would not recommend using the V3 reference guides when it comes to V4 content.

For LEED for Homes Candidate Handbook, are you still using the 2009 version? I am interested in applying to take my LEED for Homes AP exam, and I would like to know which current application I should use. Also, I have experience on a LEED EBOM project. Does this qualify me for the Homes AP exam?
