The LEED Dynamic Plaque continues its world tour this summer, stopping at the BOMA convention with sessions, workshops and plenty of conversations about monitoring and tracking your sustainable performance.
The Dynamic Plaque measures existing buildings in the categories of energy, water, waste, transportation and human experience, giving building owners, managers and tenants new insight into real-time building performance. Online to Ongoing: What Is Your LEED Building’s Performance Story?
Monday, June 27: 12:00–1:00 p.m.
Learn about the data requirements for the LEED Dynamic Plaque and performance requirements of LEED v4. This session discusses the benefits and challenges of building performance management and improvement, with case studies of regional and international LEED buildings.
LEED Dynamic Plaque: Stories From Practice
Monday, June 27: 2:15–3:15 p.m.
Practitioners will share stories and lessons learned from the past year of engaging with the LEED Dynamic Plaque platform as a tool to help optimize their buildings' performance, and to maintain or recertify LEED certifications across their portfolios.
The panel will consist of one USGBC staff member involved with the technical development and customer support of the LEED Dynamic Plaque, as well as representatives from two large property management companies with experience using the plaque in multiple buildings to recertify their spaces. We will discuss the real-world applications of the platform and share lessons learned, insights and opportunities. Format will include slides, live software demo and at least one physical plaque display unit.
