David Roesler was honored for his longtime service to USGBC Central Plains.

At the USGBC Central Plains annual holiday gathering, held at Boulevard's Beer Hall, the Market Leadership Advisory Board took the opportunity to honor retiring Hallmark employee and outgoing USGBC Central Plains board member David Roesler.

Dave has been involved in USGBC Central Plains since the community's inception. He was one of the three founding committee members, along with Jim Megerson and Tambra Thorson, in 2002. In addition, Dave was a board member for the Central Plains community through most of a decade, serving as an advisor to the board on fund and resource development. He took a break for a while, and came back onto the board when he was needed a few years ago, serving as board chair for two years.

At the Boulevard event, Dave was joined by his wife, as well as his daughter and son-in-law and several Hallmark colleagues. USGBC Central Plains MLAB chair Sara Greenwood presented Dave with parting gifts, including a leadership plaque. The plaque was etched in reclaimed lumber from a 120-year-old house in the lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans and had been worked on by the Historic Green group from USGBC Central Plains.

We will miss Dave's warm smile and thoughtful input, and we thank him for his dedicated spirit and service to USGBC Central Plains.
