Volunteer With the Green Apple Team in Your Own Backyard!

Published on 24 Apr 2013 Written by Emily Knupp Riordan Posted in Center for Green Schools

Apply today to join the Green Apple team!

Are you a leader in every sense of the word? Were you the captain of the cheerleading squad or debate team, or president of your student council? Head of the local PTA? Always being described as going “above and beyond” for your family, neighborhood, school or community?

Was the Green Apple Day of Service the highlight of your 2012? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you might have what it takes to join the Green Apple team as a volunteer this summer! We’re looking for a handful of local organizing captains to help plan awesome Day of Service events for September 28, 2013 and recruit more project captains.

These volunteers will work with program staff from May-September to enhance local outreach and volunteer recruitment in advance of the second annual Green Apple Day of Service. As an organizing captain you will contribute to the success of this international event, and you’ll be directly connected to national staff and other volunteers to make your own project a success.

Tell us a little about yourself using this form application, and you might become a part of the team this spring and summer! Application is open on a rolling basis through May 17. Apply now!
