The USGBC Florida Capital Region Chapter is a membership organization with an crucial vision to hand the next generation a healthy, self-sustaining Florida. We offer opportunities for Green Building Education, Community Outreach, Participation in LEED Certification Projects, Sharing Knowledge and Best Practices.

The USGBC Florida Capitol Region Chapter strives to create a positive impact on the region's built environment by accelerating the adoption of green building practices, technologies, policies, and standards. We endeavor to move the green building industry forward with market-based solutions. The Chapter's membership is open and balanced and will be comprised of leaders and visionaries from all segments of the building industry, including product manufacturers, environmental organizations, building owners, building professionals, utilities, city government, research institutions, professional societies and universities. ¶The Florida Capital Region Chapter is a membership organization that encompasses the Florida counties of Holmes, Washington, Jackson, Calhoun, Gulf, Franklin, Liberty, Gadsden, Wakulla, Leon, Jefferson, Madison, and Taylor. ¶The mission of the Florida Capital Region Chapter is to have a positive impact on Florida's environment, economy, and social well-being by promoting LEEDTM and other sustainable building practices and technologies, encouraging green and sustainable design, construction, and operation of buildings, developing green and sustainable building standards, design practices, and technologies and providing outreach and education to our members and communities.
