The USGBC Montana Chapter promotes balanced social, economic, and environmental stewardship in Montana by leading and educating about green building practices that will create healthy and sustainable communities in which to live, work, and play. We share USGBC's vision, that "Buildings and communities will regenerate and sustain the health and vitality of all life within a generation."
The USGBC Montana Chapter is a chapter of USGBC. As a non-profit (501c3) organization, the Chapter is working to promote green building in the Big Sky state by providing local educational and networking activities. We hope to be an important resource for professionals and concerned citizens alike. Whether you are a teacher, a homeowner, a politician, a building professional, a mom or a dad, or a student, we welcome you into our organization, where you will find a diverse group of people who care deeply about sustainability and believe in the benefits of green building.
Help us help you! We are currently a completely volunteer run organization. While we have high hopes of hiring staff in the next few years, we depend on a few dedicated volunteers to accomplish everything from checking member emails to planning our Annual Summit. We can always use more help. If you are interested in lending your talents and time, please take a look at our committees and contact us about getting involved.
