Greening the built environment from the Chesapeake to the Shenandoah
U.S. Green Building Council - National Capital Region Chapter, a local affiliate of the USGBC, provides locally-based leadership, advocacy, education and resources to create a vibrant and environmentally healthy Metropolitan Washington region. With individual members from every sector of the building industry, we work collaboratively to advance our vision for a responsible, healthy and prosperous environment that improves quality of life. The National Capital Region includes Washington, D.C. and surrounding counties of Stafford, Culpeper, Warren, Fauquier, Rappahannock, Frederick, Clarke, Shenandoah, Loudoun, Prince William and Fairfax in the Commonwealth of Virginia and Montgomery and Prince Georges counties in the State of Maryland.
