The U.S. Green Building Council - Nevada Chapter is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and has been an organizational leader in Nevada for green building and sustainability since 2003. We are the local voice of the U.S. Green Building Council and chapter members are key to raising awareness about green building in Nevada. Our core values of collaboration, environmental stewardship, education, networking and diversity drive us to make a positive difference in the built, natural, and social environments of the state.

The USGBC Nevada Chapter advocates adoption of sustainable codes, implementation of sustainable construction practices for existing and new buildings and access to sustainable education throughout the state. Our vision is for Nevada to be a model for sustainable buildings and communities and is renowned in the region for its outstanding quality of life. The governing body of the Chapter is the volunteer Board of Directors, elected by chapter members, who are responsible for the supervision and direction of the Chapter. Friends of the Chapter show leadership and vision by helping to keep green building strong in Nevada. We greatfully acknowledge those companies and ask you to support them in return. The chapter has several committees that help make it all happen. Whether it is Government Affairs, Sustainable Communities, Communications, Programs or Education, our volunteer committee members are committed to a Chapter that brings value to our members and all residents of the State of Nevada. Join us every second Tuesday for breakfast! Together, we'll shape the green building industry to create healthier, more productive communities. We have regular meetings in Northern Nevada (Reno) and Southern Nevada (Las Vegas). Check our calendar for the next meetings near you!
