The USGBC Northern Gulf Coast Chapter was established in 2006 and extends eastward from Escambia County to Bay County; including Santa Rosa, Okaloosa , Walton, Holmes, Washington counties.  The Emerald Coast Branch is an extension of the Chapter and serves members in Bay, Okaloosa and Walton counties.

The vision of the Northern Gulf Coast Chapter of the USGBC is to be a universally recognized regional champion for creating buildings and communities that regenerate and sustain the health and vitality of all life for present and future generations.

The mission of the Northern Gulf Coast Chapter of the USGBC is to transform the way buildings and communities are designed, built and operated, enabling an environmentally and socially responsible, healthy and prosperous environment that improves our region’s quality of life. We do this through: Advocacy to owners, public and private policy makers which impact the built environment; Training of planners, designers, builders, developers and operators of the built environment; Education of future generations and the public at large.

Any individual from a USGBC Member Organization or Company is encouraged to join the USGBC - Northern Gulf Coast Chapter. You may also join even if your organization is not a member of the USGBC. Your membership influences change and helps shape the future of green building in the Northern Florida Gulf Coast area.  In becoming a local member you will be able to network with professionals from across the building industry, get access to new LEED developments, and advance the USGBC mission at the local level.

The Northern Gulf Coast Chapter strives to deliver quality programming and networking opportunities throughout the year.  One excellent way to support the Chapter and gain exposure for your business is to become a sponsor, click here to learn how.

As an extension of the Northern Gulf Coast Chapter, the Emerald Coast Branch hosts regular meetings and educational opportunities designed to give members and potential members a place to network with colleagues and learn about green building in the Bay, Okaloosa and Walton Counties.
