Montana green schools K-12 public school project

What is the USGBC Montana O+M Pilot Program?

USGBC Montana will select one qualified K-12 public school within the state and will provide the school with guidance and assistance going through the Building Operations and Maintenance certification process. USGBC Montana will provide financial assistance as well as fundraising support to help the selected school achieve LEED certification using the O+M rating system. The end goal is to improve student health and educational outcomes through LEED certification, and to provide a model for future schools and school districts.

Who should sign up for the O+M Pilot Program?

Any interested Montana public K-12 school should review the complete program requirements: prerequisites and scorecard.

Why should we sign up for the Pilot Program?

Once the Montana school achieves certification under the Pilot Program, that school would serve as a role model as the first LEED-certified public school in the entire state! Data collected would also encourage more schools and/or school districts to consider seeking LEED O+M certification.
