USGBC New York: Learn how to conquer the energy code in New York State

Urban Green Council, working in concert with NYSERDA and other partner organizations such as USGBC New York Upstate, invites all design professionals working in New York State to register for important classroom training. Based on the upcoming 2015 IECC, this course unveils the structure and rationale behind the energy code.

Architects and engineers will learn how to navigate the various pathways to compliance and how to incorporate best energy conservation practices into their projects. The courses translate the code into plain English, and include practical information about documentation requirements and progress inspections.
