Growing sustainability in schools (USGBC Minnesota)

Saint Paul Public Schools (SPPS) has a history of working closely with the MN Green Schools Coalition, an initiative of USGBC Minnesota. USGBC New Mexico students participate in Recyclemania and LEED tours

The USGBC New Mexico Student Chapter will be participating in Recyclemania 2016, hosted by Central New Mexico Community College (CNM). CNM will be collecting two days' worth of trash from three buildings on campus and will ask CNM students to sort the waste and separate recyclable material from municipal waste. Transform your campus with USGBC Students

Representing students from all disciplines, student groups are a way for hundreds of young leaders to come together and participate in hands-on green building experiences on their own campuses. We help students integrate sustainability themes into their coursework and advocate for sustainable university practices and policies.

USGBC students receive:

  • Complimentary or discounted access to many LEED education materials
