This intermediate seminar will provide an overview of green building education strategies, specific to the client as the owner, thebuilding operator, the tenant, and the community. It will begin with an overview of the benefits of green building and a brief introduction to LEED as the attendees are expected to be familiar with the green building to ol. The presenter will introduce the different roles a client can play along with topics of educational strategies, tools and technologies, and ways to incorporate th ese into a larger green building plan. The seminar will place an emphasis on training and do cumentation during the design and con struction phase as related to the different LEED rating systems, as well as training and outrea ch during the occupancy phase. It will alsocover real life examples of client education within several LEED certified projects.
