Evolution of High Efficiency Dual-FlushToilets, MaP, and LEED

Through this course we will review the trends in water efficiency as related to toilet technologies. We will take an in-depth looka t today's High Efficiency Toilets with particular focus on Dual-Flush, 'Siphonic' and 'Washdown' toilet technologies. MaP (Maxi mum P erformance) testing analysis, Watersense product labeling, and HET requirements will all be reviewed to provide a foundation in perf ormance and water efficiency knowledge. Several case studies utilizing Dual-Flush installations showing improved performa nce coupled with substantial water savings will provide a working understanding on the benefits of incorporating this type of wat er saving tech nology into any project.
