This course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge they need to successfully earn the LEED for Existing Buildings:Operations & Maintenance waste management prerequisite and credits (MRp2, MRc6, MRc7, MRc8, MRc9). The course provides context r e garding why waste management is important and introduces strategies for improving solid waste management. This is followed by an in- depth look at the prerequisite and credit requirements and calculations, along with a step-by-step example of how to complete performance tracking. A prerequisite of the course is a basic knowledge of the LEED rating system.
