This article instructs students on the details of Integrated Project Delivery- definitions, processes, member input, etc. The course also outlines how these IPD compares and contrasts to conventional construction design. Building impacts on the environment and the concept of the triple bottom line are also covered. Review questions are given during the course so that students can determine if he or she understands the material correctly.
1. Apply Integrated Project Delivery theories and methods to real-world scenarios
2. Think creatively and develop new ideas about running their own projects to be beneficial to all stakeholders
3. Differentiate between the old methods of traditional construction and IPD
4. Understand impacts of building on the environment and resources as well as explain the concept of the triple bottom line.
