USGBC Redwood Empire community members and sustainability professionals are invited to gather at the BamCore manufacuring facility in Windsor, California, on Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 5:30 to 8:15 p.m. The evening will begin with a presentation from noted author, lecturer and structural engineer Bruce King, and conclude with dinner and a tour of the BamCore facility. Schedule 5:30-6 p.m. — Arrival, refreshments & networking 6-7 p.m. — Bruce King presents "Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) for buildings/Embodied energy in building" 7-7:30 p.m. — Dinner 7:30-8:15 pm — Tour of BamCore facility Continuing educaton credit — Attendees may receive 2 hours of LEED CEUs/GBCI credit. All event proceeds go to USGBC Redwood Empire. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

  3. Understand the environmental benefits of the BamCore Prime Wall System
  4. Hear a cradle-to-grave carbon footprint analysis (Life Cycle Assessment) recently completed by the international sustainability consulting firm Quantis
