In this 15 minute fun presentation from the Center for Green Schools, participants will be led through communications strategies that will best advance new sustainability initiatives on their campuses. In addition to providing real life examples of successful green campus projects, participants will have the opportunity to complete an interactive worksheet that will help create a strategy with talking points to advance their next big idea on campus.
The target audience for this course is college or university stakeholders, such as students, faculty, facilities staff or sustainability officers. Let’s get started!

Objectives

  1. Identify three key communication strategies for advancing sustainability on your campus
  2. Recognize strategies from real life examples of successful green campus projects
  3. Complete an interactive worksheet to create a strategy for advancing your sustainability ideas on campus
