This program presents the benefits of LEED v4 in its flexibility with strategies and performance based approach to design, operations and maintenance, strategies and outcomes in integrative thinking and all categories of LEED credit ratings. It discusses performance goals and criteria in health and human experience, energy, water, waste and materials. It also covers recommendation of tools used in LEED v4 Materials & Resources credits, including spec language in Division 01 and Architectural Technical sections.

  1. Describe LEED v4 BD+C Benefits
  2. Introduce LEED v4 BD+C Strategies and Outcomes; including Energy credit (EAc2), Water credits (WEc1&2), Waste & Materials credits (MRp2&MRc1-5), Sites credits (SSc1&2), & Transportation credits (LTc4-7)
  3. Review LEED v4 BD+C Performance Goals and Criteria; including Energy credits (EAc2-4), Water credits (WEc4), Waste & Materials credits (MR1-5), & Human Health & Experience credits (IEQc2&4)
  4. Develop and Recommend LEED v4 BD+C Materials & Resources credits (MRc3&4) Tools, Spec Language in Division 01, and Architectural Technical sections
