Join us for this exciting five-session webinar series, focusing on the technical requirements for the LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance Rating System, 2009 Edition. USGBC LEED Faculty, both experts in LEED and skilled presenters, will review the rating system through a unique credit-by-credit approach, and present personal case examples to give you a solid understanding of LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance.

In this series, presenters will address the rating system's seven credit categories: Sustainable Sites (SS), Water Efficiency (WE), Energy and Atmosphere (EA), Materials and Resources (MR), Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ), Innovation in Operations (IO) and Regional Priority (RP).

Objectives

  1. Understand LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance 2009 minimum program requirements; prerequisite intents and requirements; and credit intents and requirements
  2. Recognize potential strategies and relevant team members for achieving LEED credits
  3. Describe key LEED metrics and standards
  4. Understand basic LEED documentation examples
  5. Recognize tools and resources for applying the LEED rating system to existing buildings
