Explore two credit categories: 1) Location and Transportation, which focuses on the actual transportation patterns of building occupants and takes a single, performance-based approach to evaluating a building's transportation characteristics; and 2) the Sustainable Sites credits which focus on the environment surrounding the building and the vital relationships between buildings, ecosystems, and ecosystem services.

This session also includes an overview of the innovation and regional priority credits, recertification, and the establishment and performance requirements. The session will cover each prerequisite and credit in a credit-by-credit format, presenting technical requirements and strategies to achieve them.

  1. Recognize how the transportation survey can determine and improve performance
  2. Identify how the sustainable sites credits support a holistic integration of the site with ecosystems
  3. Recognize synergies between multiple credits

Good overview of the LEED o&M v4 with references tot he manual. The voice intonation for the first section made paying attention difficult. I liked the archived format as I stopped and reviewed the slides often to make sure I understood how the established criteria and then measured performance period works together.

As a practitioner familiar with LEED EB:O&M 2009, I found the presentation provided the perfect level of detail to quickly learn about the new and improved credits in LEED O&M v4. The presentation aligns very nicely with the reference guide and allowed me to quickly dig in deeper when I required more information on a specific subject.

Unbelievably dry presentation, with very few photos or ideas on Best Practices or how these ideal approaches actually work in real life.
