About

Explore two credit categories: 1) Location and Transportation, which focuses on the actual transportation patterns of building occupants and takes a single, performance-based approach to evaluating a building's transportation characteristics; and 2) the Sustainable Sites credits which focus on the environment surrounding the building and the vital relationships between buildings, ecosystems, and ecosystem services.

This session also includes an overview of the innovation and regional priority credits, recertification, and the establishment and performance requirements. The session will cover each prerequisite and credit in a credit-by-credit format, presenting technical requirements and strategies to achieve them.

After watching the course video, please click "TAKE THE QUIZ". Once you have passed the quiz, your hours will be reported to GBCI and AIA and you will have access to a PDF certificate of completion.

Objectives

  1. Recognize how the transportation survey can determine and improve performance
  2. Identify how the sustainable sites credits support a holistic integration of the site with ecosystems
  3. Recognize synergies between multiple credits
  4. Recognize how credit requirements lead to higher performing buildings and market transformation

I base this on the fact that the video displayed the slide "SS Prerequisite"
"Site Management Policy" for approximately the last 1+ hour. I assume based on other similar training I have taken this was an error. It made understanding difficult. I will know more when I take the exam. Otherwise, it was well done.
