Hi ,

I have purchased the subscription of Education @ USGBC. I am unable to access the web based reference guide. Could you please help me with this. How do I access this ?

LEED Specialist, U.S. Green Building Council

Hi Gomathi, To access the web based reference guides, sign-in to your usgbc.org account. There are then two ways to access the guides -

1) Go directly to usgbc.org/credits. When you view the credit library, click on the credit that you want to view, and then you will notice a tab within the credit called 'Guide' which gives you the web-based reference guide content.

2) From the drop down under your account, click 'Education @USGBC'. From there, click 'Access' under the 'Web-Based Reference Guides'. This will direct you to the credit library, where you can follow the instructions from option 1.

If you have any further difficulty accessing your web based reference guides, please feel free to email Melanie Share at [email protected]

Hi Melanie,
I would like to suggest you that all courses display in the Education @ USGBC should have the number of CE hours in their icons. It takes time to find out the number of courses to renew our credentials.

Design Engineer, PARSONS

How can I prepare a Course/ Training Module? And
Which have CE 1 hour minimum and community can take it ?

How many CE hours have an online course included with the subscription ($199)?

Project Manager, Education Platforms, U.S. Green Building Council

Hi Gladys,

Courses with the yellow "Subscription" banner are included in the Education @USGBC subscription. The Education @USGBC subscription already contains nearly 100 CE hours and growing.

Hi Melanie,

Thanks for the clarification.

Hi,
I bought the subscription to access the web-based reference guides. When I got to the individual credit, for e.g. Integrative Process, and explored the content under the 'Guide' tab, it says and I quote, "This web-based reference guide credit is being provided as a free preview. For more information on the web-based guide check out usgbc.org/guide. To purchase access to the full suite of guide content, go to the store".

Do I still have to purchase the full suite to explore detailed content or is the content on that page complete in all aspects?

Project Manager, Education Platforms, U.S. Green Building Council

Hi Suhaas,

Sorry for the confusion - you do have access to the LEED v4 web-based reference guide. The IP credit specifically is available to everyone and always displays the Free Preview message. You'll find that you have access to all of the other credits as well (and they don't display that message). Thanks for checking!

hello, i am facing a similar problem as Suhaas... have subscribed for 1 year web-based Reference guide... but cannot access the "guide" tab in the credits library... is there any other procedure/ password or login details that i am missing?

Hi Durva,

Sorry that you're having trouble! Can you please email me with what you see when you click on the guide tab of usgbc.org/credits? My records indicate that you do have access.

Thanks!

Hi, I want to prepare for LEED Green Associates Exam. I would like to know whether the Education @USGBC subscription includes the access to LEED Core Concepts Guide and other LEED Reference Guides too? or do we have to buy the reference guides separately?
What does the Web-based reference guide includes?

Project Manager, Education Platforms, U.S. Green Building Council

Hi Mamta,

The Core Concepts guide would need to be purchased separately (http://www.usgbc.org/resources/leed-core-concepts-guide). The web-based reference guide includes access to all adaptations of the LEED v4 reference guide (BD+C, ID+C, etc.). It includes access to the full text of the reference guide, plus additional multi-media content to help further illustrate the material. Thanks!

Industrial Engineer. LEED AP EBOM, Green Building Management S.L.

This web-based reference guide is inluded for free with the Education @USGBC quote of $199/year?

Project Manager, Education Platforms, U.S. Green Building Council

Yes! Access to the web-based reference guide is included in the Education @USGBC subscription for $199 per year ($175 per year for members). You may purchase the subscription at http://www.usgbc.org/subscription/contact.
