LEED version: v4



LEED Version 4 takes LEED rating systems to a new level, offering the potential to drive the reduction of building carbon emissions and taking a stronger stand on human health. Presenters will outline the comprehensive technical updates. There is a greater emphasis on performance, as reflected in water and energy metering requirements, while integrative design, envelope commissioning and acoustics are some of the new issues addressed within LEED v4. In fact, LEED v4 addresses 21 different market sector adaptations including new and existing data centres, new and existing warehouse and distribution centres, hospitality, existing schools, existing retail and multifamily midrise. Presenters are ready to answer questions about LEEDv4 implications in Canada.
