About

PEER, modeled after the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED program for buildings, provides energy professionals with a comprehensive understanding of how to define, assess, and specify sustainable power to buildings. The PEER Fundamentals Course is an opportunity for electricity professionals to explore how microgrid architecture enables utilities, regulators, consumers, and the private sector to work together to accelerate electricity system investment and improvement, and learn how to maximize smart grid benefits for consumers and stakeholders alike.

The Primer module introduces the PEER program. This includes a discussion of the program background and a review of the overall program structure.
