What are the next steps when assembling your project scorecard after you have exhausted the low hanging fruit credits? What project design strategies do you implement next to get your project to your certification goals without breaking the bank? As many design teams know, not all LEED credits are created equal based on points per dollar. This presentation will cover a number of individual credits that were analyzed to maximize LEED performance based on the following categories: Envelope improvements, HVAC system revisions, rainwater harvesting and on-site renewable energies. The result of the case study analysis provide surprising results.


  1. Insight into formulating the project strategy considering project costs verses LEED credits and levels of certification.
