Learn from USGBC's LEED subject matter experts and GBCI reviewers as they explore the key concepts in the Energy and Atmosphere credit category of the LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance rating system.

Specifically, we'll discuss strategies for improving energy efficiency, review key documentation requirements, explore the value of existing building commissioning, and more. This session is aimed at LEED APs with a working knowledge of the LEED Existing Buildings: O+M rating system looking to improve their understanding of the LEED certification process and how to maximize success.

Objectives

  1. Recognize value of energy metering to ensure that an optimally designed building is performing to expectations
  2. Comply with existing building commissioning requirements
  3. Identify strategies for best management practices, planning documentation, and opportunity assessment
  4. Identify strategies for using ENERGY STAR tool to establish energy efficiency performance level
  5. Identify the possible roles of a LEED AP for success with credits related to Energy and Atmosphere impacts

It was found that "Supplemental Resources" of EA category was wrongly posted as for "Materials and Resources".
