Specifically, we'll discuss in detail how to use the ASHRAE 62.1 calculator to comply with IEQp1, review key considerations for green cleaning policies, learn how to use USGBC's space type matrix, and more. This session is aimed at LEED APs with a working knowledge of the LEED Existing Buildings: O+M rating system looking to improve their understanding of the LEED certification process and how to maximize success.

Objectives

  1. Identify best management practices to create a green cleaning policy
  2. Identify the possible roles of a LEED AP for success with credits related to the Improvement of the Indoor Environment
  3. Comply with requirements for indoor air quality best management practices
  4. Prepare for IEQ credit recertification requirements
  5. Refer to the IEQ Space matrix for correct applicability of credits for space types
  6. Identify evolution of IEQ credit category in future LEED versions
