Learn from USGBC's LEED subject matter experts and GBCI reviewers as they explore the key concepts in the Sustainable Sites credit category of the LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance rating system.

Specifically, we'll discuss strategies for tracking actions during the performance period, accurately accounting for occupant transportation data, tips for developing policies and plans, and more. This session is aimed at LEED APs with a working knowledge of the LEED Existing Buildings: O+M rating system looking to improve their understanding of the LEED certification process and how to maximize success.

Objectives

  1. Identify best practices for development of the hardscape, integrated pest, and erosion control and landscape management plans
  2. Implement best practices for tracking actions during the performance period
  3. Relate synergies between sustainable sites strategies and other credits
  4. Implement best practices for collecting occupant transportation survey data to ensure accuracy of results
  5. Identify the possible roles of a LEED AP for success with credits related to Project Site Factors
