Specifically, we'll discuss strategies for successful documentation of WEp1, how to gather accurate information on fixtures and fittings in existing buildings, cooling tower management, and more. This session is aimed at LEED APs with a working knowledge of the LEED Existing Buildings: O+M rating system looking to improve their understanding of the LEED certification process and how to maximize success.

Objectives

  1. Identify options to meet water reduction prerequisite and credit requirements
  2. Define strategies to optimize water efficiency in cooling towers
  3. Define options for achieving water efficient landscaping requirements
  4. Identify importance of measuring water performance through whole building metering and submetering
  5. Identify the possible roles of a LEED AP for success with credits related to Water Management
