Tim Smail of FLASH, Federal Alliance for Safe Homes, will present and moderate a panel of academic, industry and economic leaders on Resiliency for Homes. Leidy Klotz of Clemson University, Donn Thompson of the Portland Cement Association and Bruce McCullen-strategic consultant on resiliency work at the intersection of materials, codes, sustainability and disaster preparedness taking lessons from the past to mitigate future impacts. Intended for Urban Sustainability and Residential Professionals alike, this session will give you the latest thinking on disaster safety and recovery and how resiliency fits into your sustainability practice.
