About

Find out how to promote your work to a global audience and help put Canadian practitioners like yourself at the forefront of sustainable development.

In recording of a webinar that occurred on January 30, 2014, you will join Andreea Bejgu, Holcim Canada Awards Coordinator, and Lola Sheppard, Partner at Lateral Office, as they explore several Holcim Award winning project case studies from Canada and around the world that focus on balancing the needs of people, planet and prosperity.

The knowledge shared regarding these projects, their visions and the technologies used, are meant to be transferable to help progress sustainable development globally. This session emphasizes the role that engineers, architects, planners, developers, academics and construction professionals have in creating a more sustainable future. Participants will also learn some key strategies for submitting their own projects for Canadian and international awards.

Handouts in the Additional Resource section includes information about the Holcim Award as well as copies of the project submissions discussed in the presentation.

The presentation was recorded as a live webinar on January 30, 2014 and includes information about the 2014 award cycle which is now closed. For information on the next award cycle, go to holcimfoundation.org/Awards.
