Building professionals often say, "You can't manage what you can't measure." This high-energy jam session helps you do just that — measure, monitor and manage building energy and water performance.
Working in teams with volunteer energy managers and engineers, utility data is entered and verified using ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager. Teams identify projects eligible for ENERGY STAR certification and strategies for increased performance and lower utility bills.
This jam session supports community organizations and companies to input and verify their energy and water performance data with the help of volunteer professionals and ENERGY STAR's Portfolio Manager. Benchmarking Jams are part of USGBC's ADVANCE program to meet organizations and communities wherever they are on the path to sustainability and assist them along that path. Energy Alabama is proud to be a partner with USGBC Alabama on this effort.
