ARiES Energy is partnering with The Alabama Center for Sustainable Energy to speak with rural business owners about opportunities for renewable energy projects funded in part by USDA REAP grants. RSVP not necessary but appreciated!

Rural businesses in Alabama and Tennessee have an opportunity to save thousands of dollars on renewable energy projects with the United States Department of Agriculture's Rural Energy for America Program.

This program provides agricultural producers, urban farmers, and small rural businesses the opportunity to invest in renewable energy projects by providing 25 percent of the total system cost. If you combine all the incentives available for small rural businesses, more than 60 percent can be recovered in the first year, and by year five more than 89 percent of the investment can be recovered.
