USGBC National Capital Region invites you to join us on Tuesday, Feb. 28 to learn more about Arc, USGBC and GBCI's state-of-the-art digital platform that allows any project — whether a single building, a community or an entire city — to measure its performance in terms of sustainability and benchmark against itself and projects around it.
This GreenLearn has been pre-approved for 1.0 GBCI CEU (course #0920012229).
Launched Dec. 1, 2016, Arc can be used by both LEED certified and non-LEED certified projects to track and highlight success as well as map out incremental sustainability improvements. It will provide an entry point for projects seeking certification under LEED or other GBCI rating systems, such as GRESB, WELL, PEER, SITES, and Parksmart, with new systems being continually added.
Attendees will hear from Gautami Palanki, director at USGBC, on the development and global implementation of Arc.
Jessica Long, sustainability manager at The JBG Companies, will discuss her experiences from the user end. JBG was an early adopter of the LEED Dynamic Plaque, the first iteration of Arc, and currently uses the platform to measure the performance of several properties in the DC metro area.
Tickets — Tickets are $25 for USGBC National Capital Region members and $40 for nonmembers.
Breakfast will be provided at this event beginning at 8:30 am. The presentation will start promptly at 9 a.m.
