This is a joint event with the CofC USGBC Student Organization, the Carter Real Estate Center of CofC, and the Charleston Sustainability Institute. A presentation and virtual tour by Katie McKain of the Planning, Preservation, and Sustainability Department of the City of Charleston and Bryan Cordell Director of the Sustainability Institute showcasing the development and progress of the Upper Peninsula.

The Charleston Upper Peninsula Initiative is an innovative, community planning and urban redevelopment effort focused on the upper eastern side of the Charleston peninsula. The Upper Peninsula Initiative was formed to help promote thoughtful growth of the area.

Ticket sales will end at 6 p.m. Feb. 21, but onsite registration is available for $20 for members and non-members.
